More about the charities

Camp For All

Camp For All

Camp For All is a barrier-free camp where children and adults with special needs and challenging illnesses come to discover what they can do. We’re proud to welcome more than 11,000 campers each year through our partnership with 64 other nonprofit organizations.

A $100,000 donation from Reliant Gives Vote would enable campers with challenges such as autism, cerebral palsy, HIV, nuerofibromatosis, Down syndrome, cancer, missing limbs, sickle cell and spina bifida to grow in self-confidence and realize they are not alone. The donation would level the playing field for all campers. It would empower them to reach the top of the challenge course and fly down a zip line free of a wheelchair. They could ride horses, learn archery, canoe, fish, learn photography and — most of all — experience love, laughter, hope and healing.

Undies for Everyone

Undies for Everyone

Undies for Everyone believes every child deserves the basic dignity and confidence that come with having clean, new underwear. Dr. Brené Brown, renowned researcher, professor and storyteller, noted, “The only time we think about clean underwear is when we don’t have a pair!”

We’re proud to have distributed more than 320,000 pairs of new underwear this year. However, there are more than 1.5 million disadvantaged children in Texas who lack necessities, meaning we have a lot more work to do.

A $100,000 donation from Reliant Gives Vote would provide 20,000 deserving children with five new pairs of underwear each. That’s 100,000 pairs of underwear total! But more than that, the donation would allow us to help clothe elementary and middle-school children with dignity while bolstering their self-esteem and setting them up for success — all by providing them with something most of us take for granted.

Read Fort Worth

Read Fort Worth

Research shows that 75% of third graders who struggle with reading never catch up, drastically increasing their chance of dropping out of high school. Read Fort Worth is an early literacy intervention program helping to break this cycle. The program is committed to having 100% of third graders across Fort Worth ISD reading on grade level by 2025.

A $100,000 donation from Reliant Gives would support initiatives that promote children’s literacy in Fort Worth ISD, such as the Library Classroom Campaign and Reading Volunteers. The Campaign has placed more than 5,500 books in four elementary schools. Ultimately, we would like to place 100 high-interest, high-quality and culturally relevant books in pre-K through second grade classrooms across Fort Worth ISD, starting with elementary schools most in need.
